A Challenge for Mormons

For the members of the LDS Church that clam I know nothing of there faith, I want to set up a Challenge.  Last night I ordered a copy of “Teachings of Thomas S. Monson” and I plan to read a chapter and then write a review on each Chapter based on what the bible says and what past LSD prophets have said. 

But as I read this book and take notes and write on them I ask for any Mormon to read a book from a Christian writer and see what we have to say.  (Below is a list of books you should pick from)

I got this movie Thursday in Salt Lake at Utah Lighthouse Ministry and came home and loved it.  The Question is asked, “How do we know if a prophet is speaking truth?”  A Christian and a Mormon set down and look at each faiths prophets and see if they hold to the test of Deuteronomy 18:20-22;

²⁰ But the prophet who dares to speak in My name a message I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods—that prophet must die.' ²¹ You may say to yourself, 'How can we recognize a message the LORD has not spoken?' ²² When a prophet speaks in the LORD's name, and the message does not come true or is not fulfilled, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.
