So this is something i have wanted to talk about but have never had the time and place to do so. So when people look at the idea of the 5 points of Calvinism or T.U.L.I.P, People one both side of this get all in an up raw about John Calvin's ideas. but the first thing one needs to remember is that John Calvin was a christian and no on should say otherwise.
now lets look at the idea of Gods foreknowledge. any christian would say that God knows all, i mean he even told us about the end of time. if you believe that then the next thing you need to believe is that God knows who is going to Hell and who is going to Heaven. This is true because God knows all. If you don't believe that then you don't believe in the God of the Bible. God is all knowing.
So now we need to think about the idea that God made some people knowing that they would go to Hell. This is a idea that i have had to work on over the years, but one must believe that when God created Judas, God know what Judas was going to do. one thing to remember when you think about God's chosen people or elect, remember that ever christian believes in that when they talk about the people of Israel and Moses. there were called God's Chosen People and every christian i knows believes that, but can't believe that God would chooses people Now. they say things like "that was an Old Testament God". There is only One God.
over the years i wanted to believe that God would never make a person that he would know would go to hell but if i believe that God is all knowing then He must know that some people will go to Hell. Then why does he make them?
I have came up with two trains of ideas on this. the first is that, like any good Father, that knows His children God knows what wrong we will do and wants to be surprised by His children doing the right thing. the 2nd is that this is His world and we done have a say in the matter and we need to live not asking questions but let God do what he wants to do because it his box and we need to get in it, we can't put God into a box.
