So basically, what you’re saying is that so called “Mormonism”—the religion that, by your own admission, has always taught that we are saved by the grace of Jesus Christ, is true?
You seem like a very genuine guy, Pastor, Wil, but I’ve now watched two of your videos and have come to the irrefutable conclusion that you don’t have the slightest idea what the Church of Jesus Christ teaches.
I’ve spent over 20 years researching the history, the doctrines, and the leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of that research has been from pro-LdS sources; some of it has been from critical sources; some of it has been from downright hateful sources. I’m even active on a bulletin board for ex-“Mormons,” where I listen to their arguments against the Church (which, 999 times out of 1,000, are the same arguments that were completely trounced, decades or even centuries ago).
I really do appreciate what you’re trying to do, Pastor Wil, but it seems to me that you’re just using numerous logical fallacies to belittle the Church of Jesus Christ. I would think a true Christian would avoid bearing false witness, and instead address what the Church *really* teaches (and taught) instead of his own interpretation thereof.
I dont Believe I have ever said that they are saved by grace.
“For we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do” (The Book of Mormon, 2 Nephi 25:23).
Seems to be works too.
for the rest I have put a new blog up, read and find out that I only do this with Love. Sometimes it my sound blunt but sometimes we have to be blunt. also people hate to be told that what they believe is not of the bible, in which they clam to believe, and people get upset. I am just trying to preach the bible.
